“ this is a 5 star deli. great food, staff that talks to you and (depending on who's there and what time you go) makes you laugh while you wait, and lots of fantastic plant-based options for folks with dietary restrictions/prerogatives. the reason I'm only giving it 4 stars despite the above has to do with their delivery service. * vegan options on grubhub/seamless don't reflect all that they offer @ the deli * no add-ons to swap in vegan items * price differentials between vegan and non-vegan items complicate secure delivery (card over the phone ) ”
“ Fell in love with this place from the minute I walked in! Came here for a bacon and avocado sandwich. Made my order and browsed the menu just to check it out and, although i'm not a vegan, i do avoid dairy and wow, this place has it ALL! They have 3 entire menu sections dedicated to vegan food options and not only that, they are making these dishes with TOP quality ingredients. I dibble and dabble in vegan foods so I know of the cheese, meat, and egg vegan brand substitutes out in the market and this place is only using top ingredients. I'm talking Beyond Burger, Miyokos and Follow Your Heart cheese, Just Egg egg substitute, just to name a few. These are not cheap ingredients (as someone who buys them from regularly) and the fact that a local deli is using them and selling vegan burgers for $9.99 (i.e. regule burger prices) is wonderfully surprising. Anyway, ended up making a last minute add to my breakfast sandwich to get vegan cheese added since they had such great brands available. To top it off, they had just finished baking vegan chocolate chip cookies and I was offered one (free of charge) on my way out! Such amazing people with a great selection of vegan and non-vegan options which is extremely hard to find in the Bronx. Wish I lived closer to come here more often but I will when I can!!! ”

“ This place is great. I have a dairy intolerance and was able to order all my food with meat and substitute for their vegan cheese. They have vegan sour cream for their quesadillas and vegan white sauce for their halal food.They take veganism very seriously and cook all their meat items on one grill and all of their vegan items on a different one. Their vegan shakes are a must have! Option of almond milk vs oat milk. I ordered oat. Amazing.They also have a nice selection of vegan and dairy free snack options. I will be back often. ”
